It’s hard work being a famous dog. Long hours on set, being (ahem) hounded by paparazzi… 

How do these canine stars refuel? We… honestly don’t know, we don’t have access to that kind of information. But! We are choosing to believe that some of the most well-known pups throughout history would’ve chowed down on Ollie – a premium fresh food fit for a celebrity. 

Here are 7 famous dogs and their favorite Ollie products (we think):

1) Lassie

Originally played by a Collie named Pal, Lassie is one of the most famous dogs of all time. But with a 19 season run, “Lassie” actually spanned 7 different canine actors! While each Lassie was an amazingly good dog in their own right, they did have a few things in common: excellent behavior, tons of energy, and luscious coats. We think they would’ve been all about the kale in Ollie’s Turkey Dish with Blueberries since it helps promote healthy skin and fur.

2) Scooby Doo

What even is a Scooby Snack? This magical treat inspires courage, appeases an insatiable appetite, and is somehow also edible by Shaggy… Impossible? Or is a Scooby Snack secretly one of Ollie’s Crunchy Treats with Sweet Potato made with human-grade ingredients???

3) Rin Tin Tin

From being rescued on a World War I battlefield as a puppy to starring in 27 films, Rin Tin Tin led a storied life. As one of the first breakout (animal) stars of the silent film era, he not only earned a star on the Walk of Fame, he also helped popularize German Shepherds as pets. And look, when you’re a certified Hollywood star, you’re allowed to expect the absolute best for dinner. Which is why we think Rin Tin Tin would’ve preferred the uber-sophisticated Lamb Dish with Cranberries.

4) Toto 

Arguably one of the best dogs of all time, Toto unflinchingly faced down all the weirdness of Oz, even exposing the great Wizard himself. And here’s a little known Oz secret: the Tin Man wasn’t the only one whose joints needed a little extra lubrication! Which is why we think Toto would’ve really loved Ollie’s Hip & Joint Chews, especially since she (yes, Toto was a girl!) made it to eleven years old and stayed fit as a fiddle.

5) Air Bud

It takes a lot of work for a golden retriever to play basketball! And football. And volleyball. And… go to space? Admittedly, the Air Bud series has gone off the rails a bit since it first debuted in ‘97. But at its heart, it’s about a family of hard-working goldens living their best lives. And if we know anything about goldens… it’s that they love a good meal. We think the whole Bud family would enjoy chowing down on Ollie’s Pork Dish with Apples. Even if it does mean that one of those Buds will eventually become Santa Paws.

6) Beethoven

He’s fluffy. He’s slobbery. He’s capable of winning over even the hardest of hearts. Infamously weighing in at 185 pounds, he needed a whole lot of food. Maybe, if he’d had a daily weight-appropriate dose of Ollie’s Chicken Dish with Carrots to satiate him and curb his cravings, Beethoven wouldn’t have caused quite as much mayhem chasing down everything he could get his paws on. Maybe.

7) All 101 Dalmatians

Do we dream of being smothered by 101 dalmatian puppies? Absolutely, and that’s completely normal. But after the dream comes the nightmare: feeding all of those dogs.
