I love to bake, but I’m pretty sure I’ve been using the same warped, discolored trays since I was in middle school. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right?
That’s until I found out I’ve been cooking with toxins. The nonstick coatings on my old baking sheets are packed with dangerous forever chemicals like PFAS… With autumn in full swing, I knew it was time to embrace my cozy girl baking era – with healthy new pans!
I chose this Ceramic Nonstick 4-Piece Set from GreenPan, aka the creators of the original nontoxic nonstick, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m whipping up flawless cookies and brownies and feeling guilt-free doing it. Read on for my full review!
The Bakeware You Never Knew You Needed
I’ve always known GreenPan for their healthy ceramic pans, so I was delighted to find that they also have bakeware with their signature durable construction and PFAS-free coating.
Along with being PFAS-free, all these pieces were designed with a heavyweight gauge for durability and one-piece design. They feature impressive heat transfer, cast aluminum to prevent warping, rust-resistance, and are dishwasher safe. They have built-in handles, so you never have to grab from the bottom. Plus, as they’re oven-safe up to 600˚F, they’re great for anything sweet or savory.
I also love that this bakeware won the 2022 Good Housekeeping award for Best Kitchen Gear!
Welcome to the Cookie Zone
When I unboxed these pans, I already knew they were high quality. Although lightweight, they felt super sturdy, and the ceramic nonstick had them sparkling in the sun. I also noticed that the sides are pretty high and steep, which I really appreciated. No more trying to slide a cookie off a pan and squashing it into the side!
I decided to test them against my old toxic sheet pans with a classic recipe: some crowd-pleasing chocolate chip cookies. I threw down the rounded tablespoons of dough with absolutely no prepping of the pans first (not necessarily recommended, but I really wanted to put these to the test). P.S. If you’re not creating one huge cookie using leftover batter, you’re doing it wrong.
With my new GreenPan baking sheet, everything baked so evenly, creating the perfect crispy edges and chewy but not underdone middles. Plus, after letting them cool slightly in the pan, they slid right off like they were never even there. Cleaning was just a quick hand wash, and I noticed even spots where I had spilled some butter or burned some edges, there was no staining. At. All.
I am SO excited to keep baking fall, winter, and pumpkin-themed goodies on these.
Out of the Frying Pan, Into the Oven
I’m not the only one raving about getting their bake on. Check out what others have to say about GreenPan’s ovenware.

Embrace Your Cozy Side
I absolutely love this bakeware. All the pieces are super lightweight, durable, easy to clean, and high-performing! And equally – or even more! – importantly, they’re free of nasty forever chemicals, so you never have to worry about eating toxic treats again.
