PG - Hi, Mitch! Thanks for being here. To begin, I’d love to know what made you want to start Cake? 

The mission of Cake from the very beginning has been to help the world to have more fun sex. We've tackled that from supplements to toys to lubricants to condoms. And now we’re doing it with ED meds.

At least, it used to. With the increase in people taking antidepressants, we’re starting to see a lot of younger guys take ED meds to combat the sexual side effects.

And that was a big consideration in how we came up with our formula. Because most SSRIs are taken daily, we made our ED medication to be taken on demand so you don’t have to take as many medications as often. 

PG - If you're okay with me asking, is it something that you've struggled with?

Oh, yeah. I'll talk about anything. There's different stages and severities of erectile dysfunction. The most severe is when you're not able to get or maintain an erection whatsoever. 

So far, I haven’t had that degree of ED, but sometimes I have problems staying hard during a longer session. I might need to pause, lose my erection, and have trouble getting it back. 

I feel like I’m experiencing exactly what a lot of guys my age experience.

I’m 38 now, and my expectation is that by the time I’m 42, I might need to take meds every time I have sex.

PG - So, what’s it actually like when you take ED meds?

So, before I started taking them, I had never had sex for more than… I’ll be generous to myself and say 30 minutes. The first time I took the medication, I had sex for four hours. I literally did not know that I could do that.

But I think a lot of people think that you take the medication and you're hard nonstop for hours. 

In reality, ED Meds work like a light switch.

By that I mean they work really well while you want to have sex, but not when you don’t. In that four-hour session, for example, I got aroused, I got hard, and we had sex for 20 minutes. We took a break to get water, I went soft. We went back to bed, I picked up where we left off. 

The other piece that's interesting is that the meds last in your system for 72 hours. One morning I woke up forgetting I had taken ED meds the night before. I looked down and thought, oh, this is fun. Because it lasts such a long time, you can get multiple ‘uses’ out of the medication. 

PG - Is there anything else that sets Cake meds apart?

For one, they have such a high concentration of active ingredients. Especially if you are prescribed extra strength, they are unbelievably effective. The most common review we get from patients is “I’ve tried everything, and Cake works best for me.” 

They’re also a compound formula — two ingredients working together. We start with Sildenafil, which is the active ingredient of Viagra. You can actually do the whole thing from your phone.
