I was recently prescribed stimulants for my attention challenges a few months ago at the ripe old age of 31.
I had been falling behind at work, and my personal creative projects were taking a hit, too – I literally couldn’t focus. Then, my psychiatrist prescribed me Adderall, which changed my whole world. Suddenly, I was flying through all tasks, productivity at an 11 out of 10. Even cleaning my house was getting easier!
But then I started to notice that not all was rosy in my new Adderall-tinted life…
If you’re on stimulants, you’ve probably also experienced some not-too-pleasant side effects – and I strongly recommend you try Stasis, to balance you out.
Read on for my journey and how I finally started feeling better.
I was dealing with all the standard, but still super rough downsides of stimulants, and they were making me crazy:
Even though I hated how stimulants made me feel, I still needed to take them to get through the day. They were essential. But I desperately wanted a way to stay productive while still feeling like myself. Then I saw an ad on Instagram for something called Stasis – a "first of its kind" supplement you take along with your stimulant to balance out the downsides.
At first, I was like, “Yeah, that can’t work.” But I figured that if I didn’t like it, I could just return it and get my money back.

*If you’re feeling antsy, by all means skip this part – but if you’re curious about the science behind stimulant downsides and how Stasis works, read on!*
As I looked more into Stasis, I found that there was a clear scientific basis for why I was having the negative effects from my stimulant: “the stimulant burnout cycle.”
Basically, taking a stimulant stimulates neurotransmitters like dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine in the brain. Then the receptors that process those neurotransmitters get overloaded and desensitized. This means that you end up needing more of the stimulant to have the same effect. And over time, this process can actually lead to neurotoxicity in the brain!
Luckily, Stasis is packed with adaptogens, vitamins, and antioxidants, all the nootropic ingredients you need to kick the burnout cycle AND protect your brain health long term while taking stimulants.
There’s a Stasis Daytime and a Stasis Nighttime. The day supplement fights stress, supports a balanced mood, and promotes healthy biosystems. The night supplement supports healthy sleep, helps you feel more calm, and maintains cognitive function.
This all sounded great, but I was still unsure if it would work…
TL;DR (too late!): Stasis seemed too good to be true. It was going to let me have all of the life-changing benefits of my stimulant, without the downsides? I was skeptical…. SPOILER: It did everything it promised, and after 30 days I’m feeling so much better.
Day 1: I took the daytime Stasis in the AM along with my stimulant. I didn’t notice too much of a difference, but when I took the nighttime Stasis, I surprisingly conked out within 15 minutes of my head hitting the pillow and I didn’t wake up during the night once! Usually I wake up at around 4am and can’t fall back asleep, but this time I slept completely through the night.
Day 5: Today I realized that I wasn’t hyperfocusing on random stuff! I went to pick up my Switch during the workday but then took a step back and said to myself: “You know what, Molly, it would be better to actually focus on work right now.” And then I did! I completed my tasks without getting locked in on something random and wasting hours of my day.
Day 7: It finally happened. My friend texted me around 3pm to see if I wanted to grab drinks later that evening, and instead of citing exhaustion and saying that I wouldn’t be able to make it out, I said YES. And you know what? I WANTED to say yes. The night was so, so fun and I completely attribute my good mood and actual desire to go out to Stasis.
Day 15: I decided to treat myself to my favorite chocolate chip cookie after work, and there was a HUGE LINE. (It’s a really good cookie!) Anyway, I remembered that the last time I had to wait in the line for the cookie, I got so frustrated (borderline livid) that I left after five minutes. I used to be so cranky on my stimulant! But this time, I was able to calmly wait the 15 minutes – and enjoy the cookie! Success! Thank you, Stasis!
Day 25: It just occurred to me that I haven’t used my fidget spinner since I started taking Stasis. Guess it calmed down my jitters pretty well.
Day 30: My last day on Stasis… Looking back, basically every issue I had with my stimulant has been essentially resolved. No more jitters, no more crash, no more sour moods. Better sleep, better social life. I can’t wait for my new shipment to arrive!
Am I going to stay on Stasis (and stay on my stimulant, too)? After 30 days, I have to say: YES.
I never wanted to be the person who needed stimulants to function. But the reality is that I am, and I do. That said, I was pretty much at a breaking point where I just couldn’t settle for the downsides anymore. It wasn’t worth it.
Then Stasis came along, and for the first time on my stimulant journey, I actually feel like myself.
I’m sleeping better than I ever have, and my focus and mood have been amazingly even. Plus, now I can get through the day without worrying that I’m going to blow up at my partner over something small, or bail on girl’s night because I’m too mentally drained.
Stasis has made a huge difference in my life in just 30 days, and I can’t wait to see the person I can be if I keep taking it.
