There’s a lot that goes into finding the right ED med. There’s ingredients to consider; dosage options to test; compromises between things like onset time, duration, and delivery method to weigh…

It’s a lot. And I know, because I’ve done it. With the goal of hopefully preventing you from having to try 8 different ED meds like I have in search for that one perfect med. Because in my opinion, I’ve found it.

But before we get all the way into that, I’m here to break down Hello Cake ED Meds vs Rugiet Ready, two compound ED meds that have generated a lot of buzz online.

The Review – Rugiet Ready

Overall rating: 3/10

I really wanted to like this ED med because Apomorphine is an ingredient that no one else is bringing to the table. It’s supposed to “prime the brain for arousal” which I read as help you get in the mood, something that’s nice to see addressed. Plenty of men, myself included, lose confidence due to ED which makes it hard to get in the mood. Unfortunately, these pills did not agree with me.

The Medication:

As mentioned above, Rugiet includes newer-to-the-scene Apomorphine alongside Sildenafil and Tadalafil. For me, it was a non-starter (literally, but more on that below) that didn’t justify the price.

The Sign Up Process:

I will say that Rugiet does a great job of offering dosage options. They seem to be catering a little more to the mid-life crisis crowd (and more power to ‘em for it!) but that means that they have more options: Max, Medium, and Low Strength + Most Prescribed (which is between Medium and Max). Good if you know what dosage you want going in, confusing if you don’t.

The Price:

Oof. Short of opting into brand name meds (like Viagra instead of its generic), Rugiet is the most expensive option I’ve found at $14 - $24 per pill. In a lot of ways, that’s just the name of the game. 

But their “discounts” were infuriating. They oh-so-graciously don’t charge you for the doctor consultation (free everywhere else) and then list that as a $30 savings. Beyond that, it’s up to a flat $70 off if you order in bulk.

The Experience:

There are definitely some things that Rugiet Ready does right. I liked the dissolvable “troche” (basically a dissolvable lozenge) which did its job quickly. I also like that they use Sildenafil and Tadalafil, my favorite one-two punch of ED-fighting ingredients. And while I chose the lowest dose they had, I know there are some guys who would benefit from stronger options. 

But all of those positives went right down the drain when I started throwing up. Apomorphine (prescribed off-label in these meds) is an emetic which means that it can cause nausea and vomiting. While the delivery method helps some people avoid that, as does taking it frequently, I wasn’t so lucky. For me, puking means the end of sexy time, so Rugiet was a non-starter.

The Review – Hello Cake ED Meds

Overall rating: 9/10

Cake Meds are the best I’ve tried, bar none. They just bring the best stuff to the table – a lot of which is, admittedly, shared with Rugiet Ready. The combination of Sildenafil and Tadalafil makes for a med that kicks in fast and lasts for a long time, and the dissolvable troche is a great format for an ED med. 

The Medication:

As opposed to Rugiet’s four doses, you only get two options with Cake: regular strength which has 40 mg Sildenafil and 8 mg Tadalafil as well as extra strength with 80 mg Sildenafil and 17 mg Tadalafil. Cake Meds keep it to just those two ingredients, skipping the Apomorphine.

The Sign Up Process:

I find that having limited options makes going through the sign up process easier. And honestly, unless you’re looking to max out on strength, those extra options at Rugiet aren’t really relevant. Beyond that, the sign up process is pleasantly straightforward.

The Price:

Hello Cake comes out so far ahead here, it’s kinda insane. Cake Meds start at just $7/dose compared to Rugiet’s $14, so before applying discounts you could just order twice the Cake Meds. And if you’re going for discounts… you can save a solid 30% if you order a 6-month supply, which is the heftiest ED med discount I’ve seen so far.

The Experience:

The fact that I didn’t puke immediately made Cake Meds the winner in this showdown. But thankfully, that’s not all they have to offer!

I found that they started working pretty much as fast as promised — 15 minutes after my first dose I was ready for action. And hoooo boy was I ready for action. My wife and I just started the lightest bit of foreplay and it was like flipping a switch that took me from flaccid to impressively erect. It was the kind of erection that demanded you pay attention to it, and pay attention we did. 

The other half of Cake Meds is the long-lasting side. They promise up to 36 hours of duration thanks to the Tadalafil (the active ingredient in Cialis). I can’t say that I’ve timed it to the exact minute… but they definitely last. To the point that you can take a dose, have your fun, go through most of the next day, forget you took the dose, and then BAM serious erection. It’s a fun mix of surprising, hilarious, and confidence-inspiring. It’s definitely the closest to my “old self” (as in my horny young man self) that I’ve felt since I started dealing with ED!

Not A Hard Choice

When it comes to which med is best between Hello Cake ED Meds and Rugiet Ready, it’s really an easy choice for me. After all, only one delivered the results I was looking for without the nasty side effects. 

And look, I’m not saying that you’ll be exactly the same. Rugiet works great for some guys! All I’m saying is that I’ve got an almost full pack of their meds sitting untouched in my medicine cabinet.
