When they’re dropping albums, starring in movies, and deciding who is and isn’t worthy of being a supermodel, celebrities are just like us. Well, kind of. At the very least, they like ice cream just as much as the rest of us do. 

Enter celebrity ice cream brands. While they’re not quite the dime-a-dozen commodity as say, celebrity scents, they are popping up with surprising frequency. So, we tried ‘em out. And honestly, we’re impressed.

Cherlato - Cher

Let's kick things off with Cherlato by Cheryl Cole (better known as Cher). This brand offers an amazing range of gelato and sorbet flavors that are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth. And the best part? They only use high-quality, natural ingredients! If you're a fan of chocolate, you've got to try her Chocolate XO Cher flavor. It's a rich chocolate gelato topped with cacao nibs and freeze-dried raspberries. And if you're a fan of hazelnuts, you'll fall in love with her Heavenly Hazelnut, made with nuts sourced from Hopville Farm in Independence, Oregon.

Dr. Bombay Snax - Snoop Dogg

Next up, we have Dr. Bombay Snax by Snoop Dogg. Named after Snoop’s favorite NFT (don’t ask us on that one), Dr. Bombay Snax is all about bringing the love and sharing craveable, nostalgic flavors that’ll have you coming back for bite after bite. Keep an eye out for their Syrupy Waffle Sundaze, an even-sweeter version of the Saturday morning classic. And be sure you don’t miss out on Rollin’ in the Dough, an extra-decadent cookie dough ice cream.

Smize and Dream - Tyra Banks

Tyra Banks, the iconic supermodel and TV personality, has also jumped on the ice cream bandwagon with her brand, Smize and Dream. The brand is named after her famous modeling catchphrase and encourages you to "smize" (smile with your eyes) while enjoying their dreamy ice cream flavors. Keep an eye out for the hidden “prize” inside (it’s cookie dough) as you’re digging into flavors like Butter Pecan, But Betta or Lionel Richie’s All Night Love. And for the non-dairy lovers out there, Tyra’s also got a line called “This is Non-Dairy???!!!” that packs all the flavor without the milk.

At the end of the day celebrities are gonna celebrity, whether that’s launching water brands or their own exclusive lines of Crocs. But, when it comes to ice cream, we were beyond pleasantly surprised. Cher, Snoop, and Tyra aren’t just in it for the fun and games, they’re making quality ice creams. Proof indeed that when it comes to dessert, we’re all the same.
