Why GreenPan Needs To Be On Your Gift List

You know how some people aren’t holiday people? I can’t relate.

I’m all in on holiday festivities. I’m talking candle-lit parties, close friends, and gigantic tables laden with food. Look out, Target, because I bust out the decorations even before you do. But if I had to choose one thing that is most critical to the holidays? Always the presents (it’s okay, you can admit it, too).

To me, gift-giving is an art. It’s a way to show just how much you care about a person. Finding that one item that they didn’t know they needed, hand-crafting a homemade doodad, purchasing the luxury item that they refuse to splurge on for themselves? The ultimate love language!

So when I got a GreenPan Reserve set in Twilight for my birthday this month, you can imagine my pure delight.

And now that the holidays are here, I can’t think of a nicer gift for your loved ones – or yourself! – than these amazing pans.

The Present I Can’t Stop Talking About

My friends know that I take food *very* seriously. There are few things better in this world than taking time to craft a plate of homemade food, and sharing it with the people I love.

But my friends also know it’s been a… [redacted number of years] long time since I’ve upgraded my cookware. What I call tried and true, they call beaten to within an inch of its life. I simply refused to replace my old dependables until something truly worthy came along.

So when I opened up my gift and discovered an entire 10-piece GreenPan set? Yesterday’s news got tossed out without a second thought.

The first thing I noticed are the gorgeous aesthetics – deep twilight blue paired with gleaming gold = a match made in home decor heaven. And, of course, you can’t ignore the versatility of 2 frypans, 2 saucepans, a saute pan, and a stockpot, plus 4 lids. What excited me most, though, was the potential to cook healthier, cleaner, and easier.

A Gift That Keeps on Giving

The GreenPan Reserve pans are truly – forgive the pun – the gift that keeps on giving. I use them every single day – maybe even twice a day, if I’m being extra good about cooking at home.

How do I love these? Let me count the ways:

  1. No forever chemicals: Perhaps the most important to me, and the best upgrade, is that these pans are made from healthy ceramic. Their Thermolon coating is free of scary toxins like PFAS, PFOA, lead, and cadmium – and still manages to be nonstick!
  2. Extra tough: These things are durable! They feature an armored design with a duoforged hard anodized construction – in other words, they’re super strong and scratch-resistant, so clumsy cooks can rest easy.
  3. Diamond-reinforced: Yes, it’s true – the inside of these pans are reinforced with diamonds. You know, the hardest substance on earth?? This translates to performance at its peak, without worries of scratching or wearing down the coating.
  4. Stylish: I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: these pans look good. They’re the kind of eye-catching that makes you want to keep them on the stove as decoration because putting them away feels like a disservice.
  5. Glass lids: An underrated but critical feature, glass lids are important for those who like to let their cooking simmer away for hours on end (casual gumbo, anyone?). You’re able to keep an eye on everything without losing heat.
  6. Great cooking: And last but never least, my GreenPans cook well. Quick and even heat conductivity, nonstick that requires less oil, and versatility that has me multitasking like a pro – it’s a winning combination.

Other Happy Home Cooks

Perhaps I’m less critical, since I didn’t spend my own hard-earned money on these – although I should have, a long time ago! (I still can’t believe I was cooking on toxic nonstick pans for all these years, but that’s another article / therapy session!) Let’s hear from people who have made the investment, and why these Reserve pans are the best gift ever.

A Pan for You, and a Pan for Me

Unfortunately for my loved ones, the standards for gift-giving are now GreenPan level. I’m not sure anyone will be able to top or even match this gift – that’s how obsessed I am.

Looking to cop a set, whether for gifting or for yourself? Or perhaps for me, as a little thank you?

These iconic pans make the perfect present!
